Just 8 months ago, 29-year-old Emma Gibbson’s lifelong wish came true when boyfriend Scott went down on one knee to propose to her. She was overjoyed and quickly said “yes”. But her happiness would quickly turn into sorrow. Because there were unsightly indented scars all over her face. As much as she wanted the big day to turn out perfect, she knew her facial scars will be the biggest flaw.
Puberty hit Emma hard. Her teenage years were troubled by persistent, raging cystic breakouts. And along with her habit of picking at the acne and popping them the wrong way, they left her face with horrific scars and hyperpigmentation.
Desperate to look her very best for the wedding, she went on a spree and tried everything. From at-home remedies such as egg whites, baking soda and petroleum jelly to shelling out extra bucks on over-the-counter medications and facial treatments… NOTHING WORKED!
Some even triggered allergic reaction, causing intense redness and itching to the scars. Realizing that her appearance took another step back, signs of pre-wedding anxiety were starting to show.
Little did she come to expect though, on the day of her final bridal gown fitting session that it was to become a defining moment. At the bridal gallery, she became teary seeing how good the gown looked on her. And because the same cannot be said about her face.
With the seamstress Diane still alongside her in the fitting room, they overheard the cold hard truth. The girls next room were mocking her facial scars. They made a cruel remark: “She has to be the ugliest bride ever.”
This immediately sent her into a downward spiral. At that point, all she wanted was to call off the wedding. Shocked to see Emma in such emotional state, Diane quickly reassured her that there’s nothing to be worried.
Turned out, she has seen countless brides with such struggle over the years. She has something recommended by few past customers that could eliminate scars for good.
